I’ve got three sets of stories for you today. It’s way more than three books so most of the dramatizations are way shorter than they deserve to be, but at least they will allow you to get to know the story a little. And what’s in plans for today? A bit of crime and spy-mastery, a continuation of a certain post-apocalyptic story and, oh a bit more crime :).
1. The Complete Smiley by John le Carre
London, the late 1950s, and a disenchanted George Smiley is engaged in the routine job of security vetting. When a Foreign Office civil servant commits suicide not long after being cleared of Communist sympathies, Smiley investigates and uncovers a deadly conspiracy with its roots in his own wartime past.

If you’re interested in spy novels and you though “Thinker, tailor, soldier, spy” was a good movie – here’s what you should be listening to right now.
This dramatization goes through 7 of the 8 stories from the series. I’ve put the links in order, so watch the dates because, for some strange reason, they’ve aired one of the novels later than they should. Oh, and I’ve only linked the first episode of each book – there are 1-3 episodes for each. I figured it would be easier to track this way.
Anyway, I might not be a big fan of typical spy novels, but these deserve some attention.
