H.P. Lovecraft – At the Mountains of Madness on BBC

Are you ready for some scary reading? I found a good one on BBC today – adaptation of one of Lovecraft’s books.

Always when I listen to one of those I get chills. This man knew how to scare you. Not like one of those gore movies we have these days. He knew how to play with your mind, how to get your fears out. After reading his stories you just wanted to crawl to your bed with all the lights turned on and preferably a monster slayer nearby.

H.P. Lovecraft – At the Mountains of Madness at BBC

Goodreads blurb:

The deliberately told and increasingly chilling recollection of an Antarctic expedition’s uncanny discoveries – and their encounter with an untold menace in the ruins of a lost civilization – is a milestone of macabre literature.

This adaptation is split into 5 episodes 30 minutes each. Here’s the link to the first one: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00vkxxk. You’ve got 24 more days to listen to it.

Have a nice and scary evening πŸ™‚
